Building a rope bridge

Building a rope bridge is a multi-complex exercise made for teams who think they are up to a technical challenge. The instructions are simple, yet many a team falls silent at first. A few wonder: 'Is this even possible?' But teams willing to take (responsible) risks will thereby have a chance to succeed. Although the picture has a sporty feel to it, participants with moderate fitness can simply participate. Moreover, the team coach will tailor the task to the composition of the group. Participants with disabilities can also be given a role (tailored to their capabilities).

Building a rope bridge is a teambuilding task that will stay with the group for a long time. Reflection makes this task extra valuable and immediately produces noticeable improvements in cooperation. The minimum number of participants is four. The assignment works best with six to eight participants per rope bridge. We have four rope bridges. Sturdy trees five to eight metres apart are necessary.
