The photo looks active, can it be done with less athletic participants?
This is usually possible, but not always. Our starting point is that everyone can participate. The Team4Teams facilitator will contact you in advance and tailor the activity to the group's capabilities. So report if there are participants with physical limitations such as pregnancy, motor or sensory impairments. The facilitator will then take this into account.
Usually, more can be done than you think. For us, it is a sport to organise the tasks in such a way that everyone can participate and be put in his/her power. For example, someone who is visually impaired is at an advantage if the group is given an assignment where everyone is blindfolded.
There is some difference in the level of sportiness between our outdoor programmes (more stars 1 to 5 = more sporty):
- Catapult shooting ** (only possible in the park of the Ernst Sillem Hoeve)
- Building a rope bridge ***
- Rafting Veluwemeer **** (ask us about the possibilities)
- Struggling Ardennes***** (ask us about the possibilities)
There are outdoor activities that can also be done indoors, the degree of sportsmanship is:
- Ball factory *
- Team building with reflection ** (to be tailored to the group)
- Team building compact *** (to be tailored to the group)
- Serious Fun **** (to be tailored to the group)
The Team4Teams supervisor appreciates knowing in time if there are any physical limitations such as pregnancy, motor or sensory impairments. The supervisor is able to take this into account.
Organisations increasingly work with people with (physical) disabilities. For us, it is a sport to empower these employees during an assignment. For example, someone who is visually impaired is at an advantage when the group is given an assignment in which everyone is blindfolded. The results are regularly surprising and heartwarming.
Can this activity also be done indoors? For example, if it is raining.
No, you can't.
We ask participants to 'bring weather-appropriate clothing'. A brief shower of rain then need not be a problem. Sturdy (gym or hiking) shoes with tread are important to avoid slipping. We stay on grass and/or in a wooded area.
Sometimes, if there is a chance of rain, a group may not want to be outside. We then recommend asking the venue manager in advance if there is a party tent or other outdoor area to take shelter for a while.
A party tent, outdoor space, hall or meeting room is not included in the price.
Should the weather forecast be unfavourable, please contact us. This can be done up to 48 hours before the start of the activity. We will then discuss alternatives. This activity is guaranteed bad weather. In the event of really bad weather (frost, high winds, thunderstorms, snow, hail), you can cancel the activity free of charge up to 24 hours before the start.
Can it also be done with a smaller or larger group? I don't know yet how big the group will be.
Each activity has a minimum and an optimal group size. Sometimes there is also a maximum group size because we are limited in terms of equipment or supervisors. For large groups, early booking is recommended.
Catapult shooting
- minimum: 2 per slingshot
- optimal: 4 per catapult
- maximum: 10 catapults, 6 per catapult
Building a rope bridge
- minimum: 3 per rope bridge
- optimal: 6 to 8 per rope bridge
- maximum: 4 rope bridges ± 48 participants
Rafting
- minimum: 8 persons per customer
- optimal: 4 persons per raft
- maximum: 12 rafts ± 72 participants
In case you end up with fewer participants than the minimum number then the activity is not possible. Consult in good time if you see that the situation is uncertain and ask for alternatives.
