Experience in 4 to 8 hours what it takes to work together as a top team. That is the aim of Team Building with Reflection with your teaching team.

The tasks seem simple, until the group gets to work on them. Then it turns out that success only comes with perfect cooperation. As a matter of course, the participants start talking about this.

The assignments challenge, allowing the group to get to know each other faster, differently and better. The atmosphere is loose, the conversations short and interesting. And each new assignment gives a new perspective.

You will be back in the school or college for the time being!

4 hours: getting to know each other better, learning to see each other's qualities, exploring pitfalls using interesting and challenging team assignments.

6 hours: the 4-hour programme plus a translation to the school situation.

8 hours: the 6-hour programme plus a focus on what each is resolving to do more of in communication.

Communicating with style is the aim of this training.

In a teaching team, different communication styles are needed to achieve solutions and results flexibly and creatively. We sometimes see that in educational teams, one or two (direct) styles are over-represented. Necessary in the classroom, but what about in a consultation? How does it work cooperatively there too?

In this practical, behaviour-based one-day training course, you will get to the heart of the matter. You will gain insight into the focus of your colleagues and learn how to tune in to each other optimally. Mutual relationships will intensify and you will seek each other out more easily. Nobody 'is' a style, we use communication styles to achieve goals. An insight, good reflection, renewal and results. Colleagues; support staff, OOP staff, teachers and lecturers are able to switch styles.

Learning to address each other in a light and breezy way is the aim of this 8 hours training. The training comes into its own most in a journey. Because everyone knows: good cooperation is a step-by-step process, in which there are thresholds for light, airy and learning feedback. One person makes no bones about it, but can the other still receive it as light, or does the colleague get defensive? Someone else has been dealing with something for too long, and even then it is difficult to keep the feedback light and learning. Again, can the other person still receive it?

In this training we talk about criticism, hints and feedback. About addressing each other in such a way that the other is eager to listen. We see criticism as one-way traffic, a hint as non-committal. Feedback, on the contrary, is mutual and therefore together–working.

What can I do and what does the other person do? How do we connect in a way that ensures success? What role does appreciation play in feedback?

Learning is essential in education. This is true for pupils and students, it is also true for colleagues. The training strengthens cooperation in the school, college or institute by highlighting the many aspects of team growth.

Working together under pressure is our most substantive programme.

This programme gives good results where it is used to better align cooperation between a management team and departments. In PO, this can be between the management and the lower, middle and upper school, in VO between the management and the various subject groups, and in MBO and HBO between teacher groups and management.

Even a horizontal cooperation in which the pressure has been too high for too long leading to conflict or too much avoidance, substantial improvement is possible by working in a pathway approach.

For teams in dire straits, we recommend individual introductions first, so team coaches can make sure everyone has been heard beforehand. The days usually last 6 hours.
