Welcome to the world of serious team building

How do you increase mental resilience in a team? What is the team building method that increases cooperation and makes team members respond flexibly to change? Answers to these questions.

Mental resilience is a topic on many an agenda more than before. Because of corona in 2020-2022, because of working from home more often, because of different contact, because of an exciting world that may go deep. How do you stay fresh and alert?

With team building, cooperation aspects are made visible in the here-and-now. Because it is the team and the quality of their cooperation that are going to make the difference. It will be optimal teamwork or you will have a serious problem today.

While performing attractive team assignments, participants immediately experience how cooperation works. The conditions in which these team assignments are given are relaxed, challenging and serious at the same time.
We do so with team activities that seem simple, be that too, until the assignment starts.
Next, optimal cooperation is needed to achieve success. You will naturally get into a conversation about this. We then translate these experiences to the daily practice and the work situation in which the team finds itself. What improvements will the team members pick up in the work situation is then the question.

With team assignments, we make visible how the group functions.
With our roadmap to a top team - the Scale of Cooperation - the supervisor supports the team step by step.

In doing so, Team4Teams contributes in its own way to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

Asking for, giving and receiving feedback
The method with team building, team training and team development

Working with team building is possible in German, English, French and Dutch.

THE THREE MAIN PRINCIPLES

in our approach to team building

team building at a distance of 1.5 metres is naturally possible

Experiential learning

Experiencing together what working together in the here and now can do creates simultaneity. Wanting to move forward together comes naturally once the goal is clear and inspires.

Scale of Cooperation, the roadmap in how we work with team building

The Scale of Cooperation

A cooperative team is characterised by facilitating the learning process. Mistakes come to the table to learn from together. The task is central and people never play it on the person.

A viewpoint on possibilities

Appreciate what is going well while problems are on the table. This requires a safe environment, attractive goals and a culture of holding each other accountable. What can be improved and who will do what?

Growing and being under pressure create dynamics in the team

A working method with depth

In addition to experiential learning, the Scale of Cooperation and the viewpoint, there are more important frameworks, clear insights that contribute to team growth and we are happy to share with you:

  • We work a lot and enjoy working with communication styles. In communication between people, a difference is made between direct and indirect employees, between a people-oriented and task-oriented approach. What this means for a team and how teams can benefit from this becomes visible with a questionnaire, thus enabling accelerated team growth.

  • The insights of NLP are also important. NLP focuses mainly on what does work, on how people who have mastered a particular skill operate. We are interested in successful teams to make their knowledge and experience accessible to teams looking forward to developing their resources. Because most participants already know how it can be done, they stumble because they don't yet know how it is together can do better.

  • Insights from Kolb (the nine learning styles),
  • Maslow (hierarchy of needs)
  • Sinek (Golden Circle, with why, how, what),
  • Tuckmann (Forming - Storming - Norming - Performing),
  • Lencioni (Lencioni's pyramid),
  • Rohnke (comfort, stretch, panic)
  • and the motivation theory of Ryan & Deci (on intrinsic motivation, the invisible power source that makes a team a top team) are part of our team development programme.

They are simple insights, used sparingly, but always to the point and an immediately applicable insight.

Teambuilding can be problem-oriented, opportunity-oriented, advocate an insightful approach or focus on coaching.
In Team4Teams, we cleverly alternate these four methodologies, thus connecting them to the questions in the team. Because we believe this mix gives the team variety in approach, promotes curiosity and also ensures the best possible learning effect.

Three levels of serious team building

Three levels of support are possible in the team building method: team building, team training and team development.

Everyone can join in our team building approach

When choosing the exercises, the most important thing is that everyone can participate. Everyone is a member of the team and thus given a role.
Sporty teams can opt for physically challenging tasks.

But ultimately, it is not about the exercises themselves, but about reflecting on the process of working together.
What do you want to explore together: trust in each other, perseverance, flexibility, creativity or out-of-the-box thinking?

Everyone can participate. That includes people with disabilities.
Consultation in advance allows us to tailor well to the group.

team training

Team4Teams accompanies wherever you want in Europe

Teambuilding is possible online, in-company or at an accommodation location that meets your needs. Ask us about the possibilities.

Instructors and team trainers from Team4Teams can get down to business with a spacious hall and a sheltered lawn. Forest where we are allowed off the paths gives even more possibilities. Back to basics? We are just as happy to work in a conference centre as in a simple location such as a Scout building.
