One person makes no bones about it, but can the other still receive it as light, or does the colleague get defensive? Someone else has been dealing with something for too long, and even then it is difficult to keep the feedback light and learning. About addressing each other in such a way that the other is eager to listen. We see criticism as one-way traffic, a hint as non-committal.
